ABOUT ME
Samora Salim is a vastly experienced Forester at Kenya Forestry Research Institute(KEFRI), founder of Myexpertshub Agro-consultancy Ltd and Co-founder of Regreening Lambwe Initiative (REGLI). Samora works
with a team of researchers and other stakeholders in the forestry sector, identifying forestry and allied natural
resources research gaps, researching and developing forestry technologies, setting up tree plantations, compiling research findings for publication and disseminating developed forestry technologies to various conservation stakeholders. At Myexpertshub, Samora manages a team of expert consultants in Forestry, Horticulture, Apiculture, Aquacuture and Landscaping, the thematic areas of this consulting firm. He further leads a Community Based Organization (CBO) as a sustainable
Natural Resource Management Consultant, besides being in the Executive Management Committee of the same. Samora boasts of a rich 6 yr experience in the conservation sector, having worked for 3
yrs at Better Globe Forestry Limited as an Agroforestry Field officer, executing massive
on-farm tree planting projects in the North Eastern Kenya. For about 2 yrs at Trees For
The Future as Field Technician, he steered the implementation of Forest Garden
Project in Homabay County, western part of Kenya. He is currently a consulting
Forester at the northern part of Kenya, dealing with commercial tree growing, profitablebee keeping and landscaping, beside his routine job. He also coordinates and
administer the working of the consulting firm and the CBO.
