Business Orientation was very beneficial to me. Over a span of about seven meetings, the course enabled me to work out what I wanted to do after completing my master’s program. Even though I had no idea what to do at first, I was able to develop an entrepreneurial idea for what to do after the program. I had a business idea for the dairy industry that I wanted to set up and the course taught and coached me on how to concretize the idea, as well as what strategic choices had to be made to make it feasible. In addition, after developing the concept, I was trained in business planning. This was a very important part of what I learned regarding developing business canvas models and financial budgeting, which were both completely new to me. I am grateful to Martin for taking the time to walk us through the course. Besides this, I also really appreciate Lennard’s role in offering constructive feedback on financial feasibility.
