My website: Ecopack Initiatives

I possess a diverse range of business experiences and a strong drive for entrepreneurship. I have successfully established and operated a small home business selling clothes, shoes, and beddings for a period of two years while still working full-time to supplement on my salary. This venture allowed me to gain valuable insights into customer preferences and develop sales and marketing strategies. I therefore plan to establish a mushroom farming business that will be more sustainable and more profitable for me as an entrepreneur.
Furthermore, I showcased my entrepreneurial mindset by developing a business plan for a fish farming venture in my hometown. Through this, I applied for a grant from a non-governmental organization that supports start-up entrepreneurs. Although I was unable to secure the necessary funds due to unforeseen circumstances, the initiative and planning skills gained from the experience highlights my determination to explore new business opportunities.
Additionally, I have invested in my entrepreneurial education by attending short training programs and courses focused on entrepreneurship. These experiences have equipped me with crucial skills such as leadership, communication, and budgeting, which are essential for successfully managing and scaling up businesses. Overall, my foundation of starting small businesses, passion for entrepreneurship coupled with practical experience, and continuous learning, positions me well to pursue a business in mushroom farming and selling in Zambia.
